He begged to cook at 13. At 16, he bought the trailer.
Krazy Crepes opened in April 2022, when Blue Valley student Karizma Nola and his mother Christine Tran bought a creperie-on-wheels from its previous owner — the day after they’d first talked about getting a food truck. Inspired by unforgettable crepes on a family trip to Colorado, they’ve run it as a family ever since: the two of them at the window, friends and family pitching in at the big events.

The story caught Kansas City’s attention — the student chef with a trailer full of crepes and his mother’s Vietnamese cooking — and it still holds up at the window: everything handcrafted, everything family.
